Is this your Thanksgiving meal? I mean if it is, that's fine (not really it's sad) but this is San Francisco and you do have a number of opportunities to break out of your singledom frozen dinner and venture out on what may be a nice day to try one of the innumerable restaurants in town that are open and offering actual Thanksgiving dishes. Save yourself the hassles of whether to spatchcock or fully roast your turkey. Forget everyone who didn't offer you an invite to their gathering, they weren't real friends anyway! Who needs all the worries of cleaning up after everyone else has stuffed their face and collapsed onto the sofa to watch men in tights tackle each other hard for tiny balls. Whether you are alone or coupled or throupled, you still have time to make a reservation for Thanksgiving. And being this is SF, you don't even have to dress! You can just throw on your shirt and jeans and head to enjoy some food that could most likely be better than anything you can make in your tiny toaster oven. Here are a few places you can check out that seem to still have spots open as of this writing. 

• Why not head out to Beach Chalet for some ocean views and three course prix fixe. After filling up you can take a stroll along Ocean Beach. 
• If upstairs at Beach Chalet isn't your thing, then head downstairs to Park Chalet for their buffet Thanksgiving fete. 
• Sure, it might be a little garlic centric, but The Stinking Rose dose a mean Thanksgiving menu with all the trimmings. Their regular menu is also available. 
• There is a super high end experience at Ritz Carlton's Parallel 37 restaurant. 
• Then if you want to go the complete opposite direction, hofbrau fave Tommy's Joynt is doing it up for about $24.95 a person. Plus, it is first come first served so no reservations needed. 
• Mathilde Bistro is a charming spot for some organic turkey and butternut squash soup. 
• For something a little different in an obscure part of town try the Old Clam House. They'll have a turkey menu in addition to their seafood. 
• Both Perry's locations will be open for turkey and have some spots left. And if you don't want turkey you can order up their famous burger. 
• Pretty sure Brenda's French Soul Food in the Tenderloin will be open 8am-3pm like last year. No reservations here, first come first served. 
• And of course, should you not give two gobbles about turkey or Thanksgiving or holidays, remember, many of the restaurants in Chinatown are open and you can enjoy some authentic Chinese instead. Have duck instead of turkey!

These are just a few options to get you out of the house and in the mood for all the trimmings without having to put forth too much energy.
